Missions

Jesus said, "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." That is the first responsibility of any church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our mission field begins at home and it continues across the globe. Because of this, foreign and home (USA) missions is very important focus of VBC. We not only want to support missionaries but we want our church members to be personally involved in reaching the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Teens

Teens are the leaders of tomorrow. For a teenager to grow up and be the man or woman God wants them to be, they need to have a close relationship with Jesus Christ their Saviour. It is also important for them to develop a fellowship with others their age who desire to serve the Lord and build one another up. We have special teen activities that are centered around the preaching of the Word of God and developing a personal walk with Jesus Christ. Tomorrow's leaders come from the teenagers of today.

Bus Minsitry

At VBC, the bus ministry is not just an extension of the youth ministry. It is really about meeting the needs of those in our surrounding area. It matters not what age or handicap, we want to make it possible for you hear the gospel and to have the ability to participate in a local assembly of disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. We desire to pick up anyone in the local area of Auburn, Pacific and Algona who needs and wants a ride to church.

Children's Minsitry

Jesus said, "Suffer the little children to come unto me." We believe that children are a special gift from God and we want them to understand that God loves them and wants a relationship with them personally. At VBC we consider it a priveledge and make it a priority to work with children from the nursery all the way to middle school. It is our desire to communicate salvation through Jesus Christ through our Sunday School classes, Junior Church and our Vacation Bible School.

Deaf ministry

The Valley Baptist Church believes it is important to reach all with the gospel. We are firmly committed to offering American Sign Language interpretation of all of our services and activites. We believe it is our responsibility to communicate the Word of God and salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ to all, including the deaf.

Music

The theme for the Valley Baptist Music Ministry is found in 2 Chronicles 20:21 which says “And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.” It is our desire to lift up our God and Savior, Jesus Christ from the pulpit, choir, and to the pew. We want to praise Him in a way that is honoring to God by having our praise be beautiful and holy.
