Praise the Beauty of Holiness

 

The theme for the Valley Baptist Music Ministry is found in 2 Chronicles 20:21 which says “And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.” It is our desire to lift up our God and Savior, Jesus Christ from the pulpit, choir, and to the pew. We want to praise Him in a way that is honoring to God by having our praise be beautiful and holy.

                  We hold strongly to a traditional approach to music with the understanding that the current Contemporary Christian Rock Music culture is not honoring to a holy and righteous God. We sing old fashioned hymns and newly written music that follows our theme verse. We have a variety of singing groups including choir, quartet, ladies’ ensemble, and instrumental music. It is our desire to use our talents to lift up Jesus Christ and not ourselves.
