Senior Pastor David Wilder
Pastor David Wilder has been a member of the Valley Baptist Church since 1987, growing under the training of Pastor Tyree. Over the years, he has served as Sunday School teacher, song leader, choir director, young adult and teen pastor, and directs and plans many of the church activities including Family Camp, Vacation Bible School and our annual Christmas Program. He was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel and has been Co-Pastor since October of 2004. The church voted to make David the Senior Pastor on Sunday, January 21, 2018
Pastor's Wife Rachel Wilder
Rachel has grown up in the Valley Baptist Church since early childhhood serving with her parents, the Tyrees. Rachel directs the Ladies' Ministry and helps her husband in the ministry at Valley Baptist Church.
Pastor Emeritus Russell Tyree
Pastor Emeritus Russell Tyree came to the Northwest as a young graduate of Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO. He has pastored Valley Baptist Church for more than 40 years, faithfully preaching the Word of God and guiding the church in the path of Christian growth and service to the Lord. His leadership through several building programs and phases of our church's growth has been and continues to be a blessing to the people of Valley Baptist Church.
Sheryl Tyree
Pastor's wife Sheryl also came to the Northwest as a young graduate of Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO. She has faithfully served with her husband with the many responsibilities that fall upon a pastor's wife. She currently works with Valley Baptist Church Deaf Sunday School Class and interprets all the services for our deaf members and visitors.
